Check In & Check Out Instructions

Check in time is 4pm. Self check in through smart lock.
Check out time is 11am.
Just take out the trash and load the dishwasher!
Trash: bag all trash, put in blue trash can outside and place the can by curb.
Dishwasher: please load the dishes into the dishwasher.
There is no need to gather towels or linens, or start a load of laundry. Just make sure pool toys are put away in the bin, pool and bath towels are placed in bathroom or laundry room. Don’t forget to remove all your personal belongings, including all food and refrigerated items.
Any additional instructions, passwords, codes, etc. will be provided upon booking.

Occupancy & Visitors

You’ll be staying at someone’s home, so please treat it with care and respect.
Maximum limit of guests is 10 - Only registered guests allowed on premises.
No smoking of any kind in house, on property or anywhere on the premises. Fine will apply if signs (smells) of smoking in house or on furniture or bedding.
No pets of any sort
No loud music or events/parties (Quiet time is 10pm-8am). This is a quiet neighborhood, please keep music and noise to a minimum during quiet hours and turn outdoor lights off by 10pm.

Pool/Grill

Children under 14 are to be supervised in Pool at all times.
NEVER remove attached Pool Cleaner (motor will burn and cause costly repair)
No Glass in Pool area, plastic dishes and cups are provided for that.
Please ensure the pool gate is securely latched when not in use.
Please put away pool items and towels when finished swimming.
Please turn off string lights and pool light by 10pm.
After using the gas grill, please turn off the gas at the source and use the grill brush to clean the grates. No cleaning of fish allowed on outdoor kitchen or property. Please use fish cleaning stations by the ocean.
‘Beach Shack’: The Blue Shack in the backyard is a ‘free use shack’ for guests to use beach gear and toys, along with backyard volleyball/pickleball net and balls, and a blue ‘pool only’ umbrella. Although this a free shack for guests, if anything gets lost or broken, please replace with like item. This allows us to be able to continue to offer these items to future guests.
Weather happens - there may be leaves or bugs in the pool or sand blown on the outdoor kitchen after a rain storm. The pool is serviced weekly and the house is on a monthly pest control treatment. *Coastal homes may occasionally have insects despite regular pest control (which are not grounds for a refund). We do our best to keep things as well taken care of as possible.

House Care

Trash pickup is on Friday Morning. Please roll the bins to the curb Thursday night, or the day you leave.
Sandy Feet: Please use outdoor shower to rinse off sand before entering the house or the pool.
Refrigerator: No storage of bait in any refrigerator on the property. There are cleaning stations at the pier and boat ramps.
House: Please do not sit on any indoor furniture or bedding in swimwear or wet clothing (including wet towels). No rearranging furniture.
Owner & Maid Closet/Pantry: Off limits, please don’t try to open.
AC: To eliminate the AC freezing over, please do not turn below 70. Please keep doors and windows closed while AC is running. Turn AC to 78 when checking out.
Damage: Renter is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to pay for any repairs should damage occur during occupancy.

Contract

Contract: Must sign rental agreement to book, and provide copy of drivers license to complete booking. Guest must be at least 25 years of age to book.
Failure to comply with any of these rules is breach of contract and grounds for dismissal. Non-compliance with any of the property rules will be regarded as a breach of the terms and conditions of our rental agreement.
Be advised that we reserve the right to ask all persons to leave the property with immediate effect if they do not abide by the rules.
